From sizzling street food to soul-shaking salsa beats, Hispanic Heritage Month in Dayton is more than a celebration—it’s a movement. And at the heart of it all is the beloved Hispanic Heritage Festival, hosted by PACO Dayton (Puerto Rican, American, and Caribbean Organization), a cultural cornerstone that’s been uplifting the community since 1991.

This year’s festival takes place on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 11 AM to 11 PM at RiverScape MetroPark, and it’s shaping up to be one of the most vibrant cultural events in the Miami Valley. Whether you're a longtime supporter or simply curious about the richness of Hispanic culture, you’ll find a warm welcome, a delicious plate of food, and an unforgettable experience waiting for you.

🎶A Fiesta of Flavor, Music, and Tradition

Imagine the beat of live salsa and mariachi filling the air, the colorful twirl of folkloric dancers, and the scent of fresh empanadas and sizzling fajitas drifting from food trucks. That’s the magic of the Dayton Hispanic Heritage Festival.

This family-friendly event brings thousands together for a full day of music, dance, cultural exhibits, artisan vendors, and interactive fun for all ages. Want to dance? Take part in a group lesson. Craving something new? Try dishes from across Latin America—no passport needed. Love supporting local? Shop the marketplace filled with crafts, goods, and handmade treasures that reflect the vibrancy of Hispanic traditions.

More Than a Festival—It’s a Force for Good🤝

What makes this celebration truly special is its impact beyond the festival grounds. Hosted by PACO Dayton, the event helps fund vital programs throughout the year, from student scholarships to charitable partnerships that empower local families.

One beloved tradition that keeps both kids and grown-ups smiling is the Rubber Duck Regatta, co-hosted with United Rehabilitation Services. This playful fundraiser supports individuals with disabilities across the Miami Valley—proof that having fun and doing good can absolutely go hand in hand.

By attending, volunteering, or sponsoring the event, you’re directly contributing to a more inclusive and empowered Dayton.
