🎵African American Cultural Festival (August 16 & 17) - Island MetroPark is the backdrop for two full days of culture, food and fun for the family! Experience the African Village, Main Stage Performances, the Health Pavilion, the Black Author's Pavilion and Food Vendor Alley. Saturday is your chance to witness National Recording Artist, Force MDs at 7:15 p.m.
🍴Greater Dayton Lebanese Festival (August 22-24) – On the grounds of St. Ignatius of Antioch Maronite Church, get ready for a weekend of mouthwatering cuisine, Middle Eastern dancing, and family-friendly fun. Starting Monday, August 18, you can also pre-order food from the menu to pick up at the specified time during festival hours.

🖌️Art on the Commons (August 10) – Set in Lincoln Park Civic Commons, this showcase features approximately 100 artists from around the country. Organized by Rosewood Arts Center, the festival will feature live music and an incredible range of artwork mediums.
🎨 Englewood Art Festival (August 9-10) – Held annually at Centennial Park, this fest brings small-town creativity to life kicking off with a 5K run and a parade on Saturday. Sunday follows with a charity car show. Don't miss out on art vendors from around the area and be prepared to EAT with a wide variety of food trucks on site!
🍺 DAI Oktoberfest (September 26-28) – A Dayton tradition established in 1971, Dayton Art Institute’s Oktoberfest is southwest Ohio’s longest-running Oktoberfest celebration and the museum’s largest annual fundraiser. What can you expect? Outstanding artisans, delicious food, a Weingarten and of course, an amazing selection of more than 50 craft and international beers! 🪕 Dayton PorchFest (August 16) – Dozens of local bands perform from front porches in Dayton’s St. Anne’s Hill historic neighborhood in this unique annual festival. Come out to celebrate the richness and diversity of the Dayton music scene.
🤠 Kettering Holiday at Home (August 31 - September 1) – A Labor Day mainstay with a huge parade, vendor village, classic cars, and hometown pride. This year's theme is Going Country so prepare to get your toes tappin' with live country music!
🍺 Vandalia Sister Cities Oktoberfest (September 5 & 6) – Raise a stein and celebrate German culture with bands, brats, potato salad, beer, pretzels, arts & crafts, and more all located at the Vandalia Recreation Center (1111 Stonequarry Road). Don't forget to stick around for music bingo on Saturday evening.
🚗 Concours d’Elegance at Carillon Park (September 14) – This elegant car show at Carillon Historical Park will honor the 100th anniversary of Chrysler. The Concours will also feature the cars of Porsche, honoring the 150th birthday of founder Ferdinand Porsche. Vehicles are either restored to original or preserved in original conditions. Cars from the early 1900s are displayed alongside classics of the '50s and '60s. Entries are judged and compete in a number of classes and for special awards.
