It's no secret that brunch is a favorite! It's the perfect mix of breakfast and lunch. You can indulge in a stack of pancakes or savor an egg and cheese sandwich at one of Dayton's best brunch spots!
Hit The Spa and Get A Couples Massage
Spend an afternoon relaxing with your honey with a couple's massage at one of Montgomery County's massage studios.
Grab An Afternoon Treat
Hopefully, you left room for a sweet treat-- but let's be real we all have room for chocolate! Stop at Esther Price Candies in downtown Dayton for a taste of Dayton.
Grab a Takeaway and Picnic in the Park
After a relaxing afternoon getting a massage, it's now time for lunch! Grab a takeaway lunch from local grocery store Dorothy Lane Market where they serve gourmet food options you can grab and go. To change it up a bit take your lunch and enjoy it at one of Dayton's Five Rivers MetroParks, pictured above is Cox Arboretum.
Do Some Shopping
Dayton has many unique shops where you will find one-of-a-kind local/handmade products to browse and buy while you're in town! However, if you are looking for some of your favorite retail stores make sure to check out Austin Landing or the Dayton Mall.
Anniversary Dinner
Celebrating an anniversary just isn't the same without splurging on a fancy dinner and some handcrafted cocktails! There are many restaurants throughout Montgomery County perfect for a celebration, however, here are some recommendations: Salar Restaurant and Lounge, Francos Ristorante, Wheat Penny Oven and Bar, Roost Italian, Watermark Restaurant, Carvers Steaks & Chops, and El Meson.
Enjoy An Evening in the Oregon District
The Historic Oregon District is a district in downtown Dayton with coffee shops, restaurants of all kinds, local shops, and bars--the perfect place to enjoy an evening out with your sweetie!
See A Movie
After an evening out or after a tasty dinner head downtown to the Neon Movies and catch a movie! The Neon is a retro cinema offering foreign and indie films, mainstream movies, and documentaries-- they also serve Boston Stoker coffee, beer, wine, and cocktails.
Day 2
Grab A Link Bike
Grab a link bike and bike around downtown or hit the bike trails! Dayton Link Bike Share is a bike-share program with kiosks located throughout downtown Dayton. They have a 24-Hour Membership available, which can be purchased at the station kiosk with a credit card. The rider can use their credit card again in that 24-Hour period to check out a new bike at a station kiosk.
Visit A Farmers' Market
Start your morning off at the one of Dayton's Farmers' Markets. Vendors come on selected days to sell local produce, grass-fed meats, artisan crafts, and more! Check the link for more info about locations and hours.
Visit A Local Museum
Dayton has many amazing museums for you to enjoy! If you are interested in the arts check out the Dayton Art Institute, if you are an aviation novice check out one or more of Dayton's aviation sites and the museums within that.
Hit The Trails
If you are wanting to spend time outside instead of inside, we've got you covered! The Miami Valley Trails are 340+ trails that are ready for you and your better half to jump on your bikes and go.
Dayton Ale Trail
The Dayton region can satisfy your thirst for locally brewed craft beer as you take a journey on the Dayton Ale Trail! Grab a passport from any of the participating breweries, collect stamps at each place you visit, and if you're from out of town and don't have time to visit them all, keep your passport and continue next time you visit to win a Tin Tacker Souvenir!
Wiley's Comedy Club
Finish off the night and your Anniversary Get-Away with a good belly laugh at Wiley's Comedy Club! Shows take place Friday and Saturday evenings and the occasional Sunday.
