Top Fourth of July Events in Dayton
One of the Miami Valley's most beloved Fourth of July traditions, the Centerville-Washington Township Americana Festival returns on Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4. This annual celebration kicks off Friday evening with the Dayton Children's Drone Show at Centerville High School Stadium at 9:45 PM, followed by a fireworks display at 10:00 PM.
On Saturday, the festivities continue with the Americana 5K Run at 7:30 AM, followed by the Americana Parade at 10:00 AM. Throughout the day, visitors can enjoy street fair filled with local vendors, live entertainment, food trucks, arts and crafts, a vintage car show, family-friendly activities, and more! The festival concludes at 5:00 PM, offering a full day of community celebration in honor of America's 250th birthday.

e can’t-miss event this year is Dayton’s Lights in Flight Festival & Fireworks Show, scheduled for July 3. A street fair at RiverScape MetroPark, featuring food, games, a kids zone, and more, takes place from 11 AM to 4 PM, with an America 250 parade in downtown Dayton at noon. At 10:00 PM, the Lights in Flight Fireworks display will be launched from Kettering Field. Because Kettering Field is currently undergoing construction of new and improved outdoor sports facilities, that viewing location will be closed to the public and vehicle parking. The fireworks will be visible from surrounding areas. Arrive early for the best spots!

Red, White and Boonshoft takes place Wednesday, July 1 through Saturday, July 4! Get front-row seats to mind-blowing science, indoor fireworks shows in their state-of-the-art Caryl D. Head to Delco Park for Kettering's annual Go 4th! celebration on Saturday, July 4th.
