Brookville Community Theatre
Brookville Community Theatre began in 1986 and "The Matchmaker" was the first show. It started with a few friends - 100 Charter members - and shows were performed at Golden Gate Park in a barn that came from the Slyder farm. Then in 1993 the new facility was built. Most of the money to build the new (current) theatre was donated by Ruth Slyder, in memory of her husband Jesse. BCT gets lots of support from the City of Brookville and community.
