Destination Dayton is proud to join communities across the country in celebrating the U.S. Travel Association’s National Travel & Tourism Week, May 4–10, 2025, an annual tradition established in 1983 to spotlight the U.S. travel industry’s essential role in driving economic growth, creating jobs and enhancing the nation’s global competitiveness.
During National Travel & Tourism Week, Destination Dayton, which promotes Dayton and Montgomery County as a premier destination for leisure visitors, encourages area residents to be a “tourist in your own backyard” and rediscover their local community. To help you discover some of the great things right in your own backyard, we're giving you the chance to win a Destination Dayton prize pack, featuring:
- A $25 gift certificate to City Barbeque, along with a bottle of their Brush Fire Craft Barbeque Sauce
- A Dayton Live notebook
- A family four-pack of passes to the CenterPoint Energy Dayton Air Show
- Two (2) tickets to see Buddy Guy in concert at the Rose Music Center on June 14
The contest is open through noon on Thursday, May 15. The winner will be selected and notified by email that afternoon (look for an email from ebrockman@destinationdayton.org).
